Weekend Events September 22nd

The Itasca County Sheriff's Office hosted a family-friendly event called "Truck Stop 2024" on September 22. It took place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Itasca County Courthouse in Grand Rapids, MN. The event featured food from Bobcat’s Lunchbox and Kona Ice, and was organized in collaboration with TRIAD to provide a community gathering focused on safety and fun​.

 





The "Walk Around the Block for ALZ" event in Grand Rapids, MN, took place on Sunday, September 22 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at West Rapids Elementary School. This community event was organized to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's disease. Participants enjoyed a one-mile walk, along with food trucks, craft vendors, games, raffles, and activities for children. Pets were welcome, and while the event was free, donations were encouraged to support the Alzheimer’s Association in providing care and funding research for a cure.
