Investigation into Drowning

Authorities in northern Minnesota’s Beltrami County are investigating a drowning near Pennington. Sheriff’s deputies say a 30-year-old man was found unresponsive Tuesday evening after jumping from a dock into shallow water. Witnesses and first responders tried to save him, but the man died at the scene. The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
