ISD 318 school district can qualify for additional funds when families complete an Educational Benefits Form. The more forms that are approved the more funding the school district receives. The funding has a long-lasting positive impact for the area students. All families who turn in the completed form benefit from investing the few minutes it takes to complete the confidential Educational Benefits Form. The form is mailed to each household in August and is also available on the school district website at www.isd318.org/edbenefits.
During the 22-23 school year ISD 318 served 120,000 school breakfasts and 345,000 lunches which was a significant increase over the previous year. In the Spring of 2023 Lawmakers approved the Free School Meals for All initiative which enabled all students regardless of income to participate in the school meals program at no cost to the student. As a result of this change, the ISD 318 Food and Nutrition Program served over 154,000 school breakfasts and over 406,000 school lunches. ISD 318 is thankful to all parents and guardians who took time to complete an Educational Benefits Form.
